    Default Grasshopper Sparrow and Bee

    I photographed this bird locally a while back and went for a different crop and tweaked the color settings a bit.

    Axel;

    Excellent as noted. Pose, singing, bee, BG, sharpness, exposure.

    Truly the only thing that caught my eye, I would be curious if you had the crotch where the two branches came together, whether it might 'complete' the perch, and not lead the eye out of the frame.

    This is a small point, but the rest is so good.

    Thanks, Randy! Yes, I have a bit more room at the bottom. The image I posted earlier was a vertical to include where the two flowers come together but I didn't want this one to look square.

    This just makes me so jealous. Beautiful pose, perch, BG, colors and light. Did you use audio? Well done.

    Lovely calling pose, and I like the settings. I remember the others from this series very well. Just a suggestion, how about coming in slightly from both sides, and adding to the top.

    Axel, I remember this series also. I like how you captured it standing on the thistle w/ a nice open beak pose. Beautiful BG. Lighting looks nice and I agree w/ Randy regarding the fork of the plant, but see your point on the square crop.

    Thanks, Lorant! I didn't use audio, these birds sang often, probably to claim their nesting territory.

    Nice pose and BG colors. I like the perch. Is this a large crop?
