Fabulous capture of the moment in beautiful habitat. If this were mine, Id crop some off the top and left to place the bear more in the rule of thirds, more left of the frame. Since the foreground is gorgeous, I wouldn't touch it, congratulations!

This is sublime Ken. I'd crop a tad off the top and left to accentuate it further. Was you up there with Fanus on this trip? Awesome work and Thanks for Sharing. (Just seen Fabs post.. were doing the rounds together..... :D).

love this Ken. I've seen some great images recently of people going to Svalbard. love the wringing of the skin with the droplets. I can imagine shooting in this place is quite a challenge between the scarce sun and the white surroundings...

Thanks for the comments I agree on the crop suggestions, I am afraid that this will be the first of many.

We have just returned from a 14 day private charter with Andy Rouse and Explorers Club members a totally different experience from our normal type of safari.

The sun was there for 24 hours but quite dull, but I have some sunny day pictures.

    Ken,
Lovely image. I can see why you have composed it this way as the snow is flying around. Seems like you had a great trip. Look forward to more.

What a sighting Ken. I feel you nailed the exposure in all aspects, and well timed to capture him shaking off the water. I like the inclusion of the enviroment. Looking forward to more.

Fabs beat me to it, ROT placement would complete this well. Great moment captured.
