    Harshad:

Congrats. What a charmer this little guy is. Spectacular colors. Nice look back pose. His bill is so big I might give him a smidge more room to the left, but nice as is.

I might be tempted to smooth out a few of the edges in the background, that draw the eye a bit.

Cheers and again congrats on 2000.

Congratulations on this milestone for sure.

Lovely small Kingfisher that is hard to spot. I see those in India differ slightly from ours here in Malaysia (http://www.pbase.com/996sps/image/104479490) with more black feathers on the wings.

I find the crop just a tad too tight otherwise the wb looks good.

Lovely species and posture! I think the noise reduction may have affected the feather detail a bit?

Congrats, Harshad. Must be a record time to get to 2000! Love the bird but agree that looks a little soft in the plumage and around the eye. Looking forward to many more.

Beautiful bird and good eye contact. It looks as if the critical focus is a bit behind the bird.

Congrats on your 2000th Harshad. This must surely be one of the most colourful species of KF. I like the pose, and agree to blend in parts of the BG. Previously, you have posted sharper images of this guy.

Such a colorful bird......and a wonderful choice to celebrate #2000. I'm always amazed at the beauty of these birds......and the short tail. Well done.
