Dynamite pose here Dave! Good control of the whites, nice comp, and I love the outstretched feet. If anything I'd lighten some of the darker spots in the water, but overall a superb effort :-)

I like the pre-landing pose and feather detail. Whites very well handled and a good composition. Well done Dave.

Frozen in action. Great angular landing posture, good exposure, and the outstretched legs with the bright yellow feet puts this over the top. Well timed Dave.

You done everything perfect here but had some bad luck as the head is turned slightly away and the dark areas of disturbed water behind the subject are, well, a bit disturbing.

SH, EXP, and pose however are superb.

I really liked this picture and for me the bird HA is just fine as I don't expect the bird to look at the photographer when landing :-). Yeah but it would have been nice had the dark patches were not there.
Overall a very sharp and terrific pose. Congrats!!
