    Default Theme: AGP at Moonrise

I took this image of the water at Sandy Hook, right at the break of morning-it had pink and purple hues, which I left all natural. Then I took this image of an American Golden Plover that was looking off in the distance. Then I used a moon image that I took in Yellowstone.
This is a 3 image composite

The lighting on this is very believable, Denise. The moon is bright enough that it adds to the early morning front-light on the AGP. I'd love to see the tail stand out a bit more; as is, it dips into the very dark front strip and is a little distracting. Overall, a dreamy ethereal image and I love it!

As Keith mentioned very dreamy and ethereal image. It gives me a story of a plover contemplating the moon. The lighting on the bird is a strong factor within the image. I was wondering if a small glow around the moon would help the it blend more into the sky. Nice one!

Thanks guys. Keith I tried to rework the tail and the dark line but it didn't come out good. Dave I liked your suggestion and I gave it a try.:)

this is beautiful....the colors are much like one would imagine in a fantasy world.
The purples/blues match perfectly to the golden moon glo.
How about one more minor tweak......"maybe"

Watch the animation for before/after option
