Maple Creek, Sask. First place in Canada to ship cattle east after the first railway was built. Although the auto wb and my noggin tells me the sky was red and blue, I adjusted wb to daylight for the effect. 50D, 17/40mm at 40mm. 1/250, f/8 and ISO400. Photo is cropped and levelled off the inside edge of silo.

Like how the sun reflect on the rail lines to them stand out, and how they are leading the eye to the horizon. I also like how you change WB to give the image a sunset look, it fits the silhouette well. This image give me the end of day, afterwork feeling.
Nicely done Dave,
I like the orange/yellow tones and hues of the sky contrasting against the sharp silhouette structures...the mood and feel is over the top...
Thanks everyone. I have been watching the late evening skies with more attention to colours lately, and although it chnages fast, both the red/blue and the yellows are there. Tks Again, Dave
