    I originally posted this in colour and thought I would try B and W as I thought it brought the shadows out well. BG darkened in PS.

    Hi Jackie - Really like the contrast between shadow and light - the B$W wrks really well here. Composition works well for me.

    Of course it will. That's what b&w is about, i.e., light and shadow, shape and form. OK, at least for some b&w photos :)

    Take a look at the tonal gradation. Stunning, mate ! (Am I allowed to say that?) :)

    This is superb Lady Jackie...I like the contrast and balance between the light and shadows. The composition, image and capture are very good...the texture and overall feel does it for me...proud of you...:cool:

    Smooth, visual impact is fantastic. The tonal range is great and I love the composition - you nailed it.

    That is a dandy Jackie. Really nice. It certainly does a fine job on the assignment of using light and shadows to get the third dimension. Well done

    This is really great, the B&W really bring out the flower's texture and give it dimension. Excellent job.
