    Upper Texas Coast

    D3, 850 MM, ISO 800, f5.6 @ 1/800.

    Spent some time this evening with this guy in some sweet light. He would call about every two minutes, then right before the sun dropped behind the horizon he raised his wings and called one last time before taking off.

    Very nice light, full wing position and low angle. Looks like the curlew was yawning and stretching after a long day.

    Pretty darn cool pose! I'm just wondering about making the yellows in the BG a little less intense - but man, what timing, and check out the perfect HA just to put the cherry on top!
