I would LOVE to see this one bigger, it looks wonderfull, BG, light, species, comp, colros and sharpness are all amazing... please post it larger! Congratulaitons!

Pd: Brightening the darker areas might help though.

I also would like to see this bigger. JUst incase you didn't know the size limitations for posting are:
PG ~ Size 200 KB ~ Max Width 1024 px ~ Max Height 800 px.

As presented, I like the bird. The bird is sharp with good details and with a nice head angle. I also would suggest lightening or removing the dark spot just in front of the birds bill. Thanks for sharing.

Just for the record book, the bird's head is in shadow and is much too dark. Remember: gentle but honest.... I do like the COMP.

I don't undestand, my pictures size is 798 x 1000 pixel.. why it's still small on the forum...About the dark spot front of the beak I think it's a killer detail, it's a drop from all the yummy meal it's doing...Thanks Artie, to be honest. was thinking that the dark mark front of the bird was something to remove..but not the dark drop, I think
    All the best

Lovely pose, comp, and sharpness. I agree with you on the drop, it adds to the image. You could try a levels adjustment on the darker areas of the head and neck.

    Hi Guys,

Lorant Help me to resolve the trouble of size, I was using Flickr and Flickr resize automaticly the pictures, It's why it was so small. Now enjoy, the dark drop.

    All the best.

Sorry my mistake:(. After reading Ramon's comment I made a quick look in photoshop and made a mistake:eek:. You are correct. I either need more coffee or more beer; I am not sure which;)

Nice work, Manuel. I agree about the shadow spots on the head and the body aren't the best. Can you also post the exif data to be able to give the best critics? I love the dripping blood from the beak....very dramatic mood. Congratulations.

The shadows on the face and neck are not ideal, but I like the pose and glance-back it gave you. Although I like the inclusion of the drop, I wish the "strand" would hang straight down instead of angled a bit.

Hi Manuel, the shot is good but the light is certainly not the best. Can't help there but lightening the dark side would certainly benefit a lot. Also, It would be great if the copyright information is shifted to the top right corner as its very distracting.
