    Default Spotted Towhee

    Another from last Thursday...

I was set up to photograph sparrows so when this larger bird jumped up on my perch it was really difficult to fit it in the frame. I wound up clipping the tail and rebuilding it in PS.

    Camera Model: Canon EOS 40D
    Shutter speed: 1/125 sec
    Aperture: 5.6
    Exposure mode: Av
Flash: On - 4 flashes as fill
    Metering mode: Multi-segment
    ISO: 320
    Focal length: 500mm f/4 IS

Great looking Towhee, Glen! Excellent job on the exposure--I had to look to see if you used the flash--I cannot tell otherwise.

Great pose, perch and details. Cosmetic surgery looks good, too. :)
