    I photographed this bathing Sanderling at first light a couple of days ago and really like the pinkish morning light. I tried different crops and liked this one best. No noise reduction was necessary despite the relatively high ISO.



    1D3, 500f4, 1.4x, 1/200s, f/8, EC +0.33, ISO 800

    Boy you really captured the light well Axel. Very pretty. Nice and sharp as well. It feels a tad tight for me on the bottom. Lovely photo. Dave

    This is exceptional for the light and sharpness factor. Such a great little bird and especially that it thinks it's a duck? :D

    comp is fine for me as is. love the light and low angle! IMO it could use a little more very slight sharpening

    Wonderfull way to start a day. Nice light and calm pose, detail, exppsure and low angle are great as well. Congratulations!

    Love the great light, serene mood, and perfect exposure. Maybe a bit more room on the right if you have it.

    Sweet light Axel, and it sure does seem as if he doesnt have a worry in the world. I would maybe move him back a tad to get him away from being central.
