Here's a typical "full-moon with bird in flight" composite. I used Nik Midnight filter to darken the sky of the original great blue heron image, then used some lighting effects. Thanks for looking. All c&c welcome!

Cindy, I love the midnight filter in Nik's color efex. It goes nicely with the color tones of the Heron.I also like the composition and think your moon glows. I also chose a GBH for my first composite.

Hi Cindy, Nice choice of subject matter and I too have used the midnight filter to good effect. I like the fact that the heron is nicely lit and showing good detail.Well handled...

hmm, I just tried my GBH/Moon combo......here at the mercy of Cindy, thanks!!:)
You always post inspiring work Cindy, and this is no exception.

Played with a few mods, mostly the moon color/location and the lead edge highlighting
    on the GBH.
Just playing, and only an option.....hope you like!!

Dave, I love it! You've taken my image to the next level. The lighting and color of the moon really makes a difference. Thanks!

glad you approve Cindy......we all have a slightly different vision, that's why
critique and comments are so valuable. The other point of view that we can
digest and use/reject whatever we want to advance our own image

Great composite and I like what Dave did to the color of the moon, it really pulls it together.
