Default Hard Rain - an abstract

Here is an image of heavy showers as seen through our balcony grill. It feels as if it is raining inside our house! Appreciate your views and comments.

    EXIF: D700, 70-200mm + 1.4TC @280mm, 1/160s, f/4, ISO 3200, handheld, early afternoon, full frame
PP: levels, curves, conversion to B&W

    regards,
    ramesh

Ramesh, This one isn't working for me as presented. I think it looks like a great texture and would make a very nice overlay. But as a stand alone image it needs more interest.Maybe if it was more transparent and there were more dimensions. I can only suggest tweaking the clarity and contrast, maybe curves and see if you can bring out some interest.

Hi Ramesh, Agree with Denise regarding it needing something more. However, it took a good eye to even see this...

Thanks Denise and David for your frank views. Appreciate that. Denise, there wasn't any other detail in this other than the streaks formed by rain drops and blurred rods of window grill.

    Regards,

Ramesh, This week in OOTB we are doing composite images-check out the sticky at the top of this page. Your image would work very well for something like that, if you'd like to give it a try. I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with.

I like the concept Ramesh......well executed, but as noted may be a
    bit lacking in focal interest.
Per Denise's suggestion, here is a quickie adding some interest(contraindicated as it is)....just playing
