Beautiful image! Nice background. I would suggest lightening the eye a little. It is pretty dark in the shadow.

Excellent sharpness, love the intense red eye. Agree it's a bit dark in shadows, there is a little bit noise/grain in the shadows that should be easy to clean up. BG is perfect. TFS

Cool pose captured in the flight image. Intense feeling to the image. Exposure looks great to me. A little lightening of the eye would be nice. TFS

Hi Gerrie, great angle of flight, with the exposure well controlled. Sharp, and is separated from the BG very well. Well captured.

    Hey Gerrie
Great action mate! I don't mind the light, you just shot when you had to shoot otherwise you would have missed the action. Well done!

Very well captured Gerrie. Pose and comp great. have you tried to lighten the shadow a tad, It will take this one over the top if you can get it right.

Gerrie, an excellent capture regardless of lighting. The red piercing eyes are something else of these kites. I like the wing position - shows as if it is always poised and ready.

    Gerrie:

Impressive bird. I like the comp, wing position, red eye. I took just a minute to try to play up the eye without going overboard. Used the dodge tool to bring up the red a bit, tweaked the pupil just a bit.

Also used the dodge tool to soften the shadows. There is a fair amount of noise in there, but I think it still presents well for web use.

Fairly subtle tweaks, but thought it gave the image a little boost.

    Very nice capture.
