    Default Spoonbill




    Haven't had a chance to shoot Spoonbills for a while. This was from yesterday. Would like to add canvas but need to read the tutorials 1st!

    Nikon D2X
    Nikkor 400mm afs II
    Gitzo tripod and Wimberley head
    iso 100, 1/1000s, f4.5

    The running pose, angle and sharpness look good. Adding canvas should not be too hard in this case. There is a tutorial in the educational resources.

    I used Richard Peters blog and it was really easy! Now I can go back and do the top and bottom some too.

    Great natural moment, lots of action here, loved that, pose and colors as well as BG look great IMO, colors could use a tad more sat. Light is very nice too.

    Like the details and eye contact, pink tones rendered beautifully, just a bit tight in the frame.

    I like the repost a little better, but would like a little more canvas at the top.

    Ok so on the original file I had more room. I lost some corners because of rotation but was able to use the quick stretch method in the resources to get the lost corners back. Very easy.:)
