Sabyasachi I like the mood of the scene with the "bad-hair day" of the Neophron. The blurred raindrops in the BG are a nice element in the image and I like the head turn, soft light and the clean BG. I think that the image needs a bit of colour warm-up, mainly on the green BG and a different composition. The bird is very centered in the frame and there is a lot of room that adds nothing to the image. I think it is much better a close portrait of the bird and I suggest a vertical croping to improve the role of the bird in the composition. (I added a touch of life to the eye but with this small size is not very noticeable, and an slight horizon leveling) :-)

Excellent crop by Don Juan! I was looking at the OP and thought vertical myself; much stronger. Wonderful eye contact and excellent to see the rain drops falling throughout the frame. :)

Although the vertical crop works very nice too, I did like the OP. I would only recomend a little more color tempretature. Great mood here. CongratulaitonS!

    Dear All,
Thanks for your comments. Highly appreciated.

    Juan,
Thanks for taking the time to repost. It looks good. I have a similar vertical composition. However, the rain drops haven't come well in the vertical I clicked. In this case, I was trying to get a diagonal composition with the body and the rain drops.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
