    This image was taken a few months back, really have not had that much luck
    with Goldfinchs' and hopefully I'll get a few better ones soon.

    MKIII 500F4+TC x1.4 1/250 F7.1 ISO 400

    Hi Danny, I like the pose. I think the head angle is good as it offer good eye contact. The appears sharp and well exposed. I also find the background complementary. The trig bisecting the bird doesn't bother me because I like the way the bird is hanging onto it. If your ethics allow I would eliminate the out of focus trig on the bottom left. Also I would like to see it bigger (1024 wide). Thanks for sharing.

    I'm with Phil on the Oof twig and seeing this a bit bigger. Your exposure looks great and the BG is very complementary to the bird. I'd also selectively sharpen his eye a little. Congrats

    Wonderfull species, light, BG, colors, perch and detail. If it Ok with you, I would've removed the little OOF twig. Congratulations!

    Great light and lovely species, I would just remove the OOF twig? Background is stunning

    For me the OOF twig is the only major issue. Otherwise great comp, light, and sharpness. I may tone down the light streaks in the BG (not eliminate, but just make less evident)
