Fantastic scene and superb light! The BG is a bit busy and since it is the same color as your subject it doesn't really stand out. A lower angle would have helped achieving that, however...you're in Africa and since you're not allowed to leave the car that isn't really an option. You certainly made best of the situation offered.

Rhino Kill! Superb. One doesn't come across such scenes too often. Any idea who killed? Lions?

I would try to reduce the colour temperature and open up the shadows a bit. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Peter, just got back from Kruger. One of my best sighting trips ever. Will be posting a lion/giraffe kill as soon as I get around to it. Great eye contact, and the blooded face of the hyena shows how they get stuck in to their meal. Well captured.

Great lighting on an interesting natural history moment. Agree that the BG is a little busy. The only option I see is perhaps shooting wide open but then you may have not had DOF for the carcass and hyena???

Cool image Peter. The bloodied face and jagged, open edges of the carcass give this one a raw, nature at work feel.
