    Alexander:

A very calm, quiet feel to the image. Just enough color in the eye and blue areas of water to offset the darker tones.

Nice HA, the body looks pretty sharp, but the eye is a little soft on my monitor. Well exposed.

re: the crop, I could go either as posted, or crop up from the bottom, since the reflection is distorted. My personal preference would to crop up.

    Thanks for sharing.

I personally would crop from the bottom and try to give the horizon some CCW rotation. Nice light, exposure, colors, BG and low angle. Congratulaitons.

Lovely light Alexander, the best time to photography black birds! I would lighten the image perhaps just a shade?
