I joined this forum about a year ago, and I have to say it really sped up my learning curve. This is by far the #1 place to learn. Thanks to all those who helped me along.
While not my best image, I am proud of this one, as California Towhee's forage on the ground and very rarely fly up to a perch. Image taken at a feeder setup in my yard.

Congrats on your 1000th post Aidan! I've enjoyed watching your photographic progress since you joined BPN. You're doing very well! Nice to see one of these guys on a perch, particularly against a clean BG.
Your towhee looks like it is getting ready to blast off. Sharp, well exposed, well captured. I have the same challenge with the Towhees here, always on the ground.
Hi Aidan, Congratulations on reaching this milestone. I would be proud if this were mine. You have a nice background. The bird is sharp and well exposed with a good head angle, Nicely done!
Hey Aidan, congrats on your first milestone. Its been a pleasure to comment on your images, and may you enjoy more of the ride. I like the leaning pose, and against a clean BG too. Well captured.
