    I thought I'd share this with you guys. One cape vulture giving it's mate a mouth(bill?)ful. 50D, 400 2.8, 6.3, 1/1600, 800.

I like the interaction, light, angle and BG. If it were mine I might remove the head of the third bird and tone down the whites some more.

It's a fascinating scene, looks like the one vulture has blood on its chest. I agree with getting rid of the vulture in the bg. The framing seems to work, I don't feel as if I'm missing something. On the other hand, a full shot might have more impact with the awesome wing span of these birds.

I agree with Axel. I also see Connie's point about having the complete wings, but as an alternative you could also crop even more from the right (eliminating the primaries there). For me as is the image is left-side heavy and this crop would balance it out IMO. Excellent action!!

Hi Stephen, those beaks look like they can do some damage. Its a pity to see cut off wings, but Im sure you wanted the action, and worry about the comp later. With your skills, eliminating the third vulture's head should be easy.;)

Excellent interaction Stephen. Thirds birds head already mentioned. Very well done.

I like the interaction and detail. Your exposure looks spot on. The composition is not ideal in my opinion though. My first thought was it would be nice to see all of the wings of both birds. But on reflection I think a tighter crop would help emphasize the great action you captured. I tried Daniel's suggestion and I think it works. Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed this one.
