    Default Osprey with Halibut

Taken at the San Diego River channel. I'm always amazed that the Osprey are so good at getting Halibut, a fish that spends its life on the bottom most often buried in the sand. Most likely the Halibut is up attacking bait fish and off the bottom when the Osprey get them, great timing on their part. Comments and critiques sure help. Thank you.

    Chris:

Nice capture, angle in frame, prey, exposure.
Looks like a bit of noise under the tail, as if you brought the exposure up there.
I thought there was a bit of a magenta cast in the sky, but see none on the bird.

    Cheers

Chris, Beautiful action shot. I would tone down the whites and the sky a bit. Overall nice shot.

Hi Chris, I like the flight pose you captured. You get the best of both the underside and top views of the wings. The eye contact is good in my opinion. The prey make this special. Thanks for sharing.
