    Default Sandy Hook Blur

    Attached Images Attached Images

I went to Sandy Hook the other morning and I only had my 500mm lens with me. This is Tripod mounted waist high.

I always wanted to capture a blur image of a large group of birds -so I slowed down my shutter w/o going too much so that I would have some detail. I shot 100 shots and came up with a few really nice abstracts. But I liked the way the grass looked in this one.
    Let me know your thoughts!Thanks.:)

Denise, you might want to crop a little on the top and right side to get the subject more into the UR ROTs! ;) :D

looks to me like shutter speed was just right Denise.....excellent blur, congrats!

I know it may have been overcast and dull, but just
for sake of variety, what about a little more color?

Hi Denise, I really like the way you captured this. Agree with Dave 1/30 sec is probably the right shutter speed. The touch of color in the repost enhances the image further.

Very nice image, Denise. The amount of blur is just right, and like Dave's repost.
