Hi all!

I need your help on this one.
I'm flying from Sweden to Alaska (Nome & Barrow) to photograph breeding shorebirds.
Originally, the plan was to go to Canada first and visit Winnipeg and Churchill, MB. Though we realized that the peaks of shorebirds would collide at Churchill and Nome, and we chose to focus on Alaska instead.

Here's the issue:
I want to photograph the species available in Manitoba anyway, but I'm too young to rent a car (I'll be 20 next year) and therefore I need to find other ways. (My colleague will be joining me in Seattle on June 1st.
The planes from Stockholm goes to either N.Y.C, Chicago or Seattle. The species I'm looking for are the local breeders American Avocet, Marbled Godwit, Upland Sandpiper, Willet, Long-billed Curlew, Spotted Sandpiper and most important, Wilson's Phalarope. I'm also looking for migrating White-rumped, Stilt and Least Sandpipers, Short-billed Dowticher and Hudsonian Godwits.

I'm wondering where to fly. I guess most of the species mentioned migrate/breed east of Seattle and will be hard to access from there.

What do you recommend?
Bring it on! :)

regards
Daniel
