I like the colours and reflection and the image looks very arty. Maybe a littlte more space in front? Alround a very good image Daniel.

    Thanks Hendri
I would also have liked more room in front, but the heron started running towards me at a fast rate and it was all I could do to fit him in!

Very nice. To solve the problem in the front, I'd look at adding some canvas. The water in this is great.

Given the beautiful reflection and the colour of the water, perhaps a wider, landscape approach could also ahve worked? Still a very pleasing image:-)

    Daniel:

Lovely colors, great sense of motion/action. Some noise in the darker areas.

The bird needs to be rotated CW based on the location of the eye in the reflection compared to the bird itself.
When I checked it, it measured 4.2 degrees off. It looks better rotated, but the tight framing causes the head to be chopped a bit.

I think it would be worth it to add some canvas all the way around, and then rotate it.

    Thanks for sharing.

Lovely colours, focus and action but I have to agree that it needs more room.

Impressive colors in the BG. It's a bit tight. Might need a rotation.

Great colors. I would add some more space if you can to the left and bottom. NR might not be a bad idea on the BG along with some USM of the bird.
