    Default Silver Lining!

Strong afternoon sun was just about to peek out of the dark clouds. It gave an interesting effect of halo and rim lighting. Appreciate your views and comments.

    Ramesh,

You have a good, strong diagonal in the image with the FG cloud and that helps to increase the drama of the halo and rim lighting. Placement of the emerging sun close to ROT power point. Well done compositionally.

Nice capture Ramesh, personally I would try to boost the contrast and add a little saturation to the blue sky a little to bring out the detail in the clouds to the left and give it a little more "punch". You may even be able to coax a little more structure in the clouds underneath the sun as well. Well done!

    Hi Ramesh,
Wonderful comp on this skyscape and I agree with Kevin's recommendations to try and tweak out some depth in the lower grey but otherwise very nicely done!

I reworked the image to mainly neutralize the blue cast by setting black and white points and played around with S/H. Please let me know how this looks.

    regards,
