I liked the composition a lot, Ed. It's simplicity is its strength! However, i felt the image is over exposed and the BG is too saturated. I played around with the image: opened it in ACR and reduced the exposure by 0.45, reduced the color temp by 5 points and applied a very slight reverse S-curve. Here is the repost. Let me know how you find this. TFS.

    regards,

Hey Ed, really like the balance of the comp. I would crop a bit of the left side, I like Ramesh's softer feel in the repost, but also like the nice contrast of your image which has more of a 3D look.

Ed I really like the comp with the diagonal lines and the plant entering the the frame from the corner. I also prefer the original to the repost but I might tone down the brightness a bit but that could be just my monitor, while the repost is nice the original looks more vibrant to me.

I'm viewing this on my work monitor so I can't really comment on the brightness issue but I'm willing to bet I would like something between the original and the repost as well. I do agree it has a nice 3D feel to it and love the comp - you really nailed it!

Hi Ed. Lovely image. On my screen, your original image is the better one (sorry Ramesh). I find it more vibrant. Great detail, comp and bg.:)

Ed, I prefer the vibrance of the original too, though I might tone down the brightness just a tad. Love the simple comp and great colors.

I really like this, I don't think I would change the OP.
