    Default crow portrait

    D700
    70-200mm f2.8 VR with 1.7 TC
    340mm
    ISO 1600
    f6.3 at 1/320s
    Manual mode
    Matrix Metering
    Auto white balance
    handheld

Adjust WB, darken a bit, crop and sharpen.

A crow portrait without the blown highlight. Better sun angle so more detail, but no calling pose.
The reflection in the eye may look like a satellite, but it's not. Not sure what it is though.

All comments and suggestions are welcome.

Very nice eye contact and detail in the face. I would consider crop a little from the right and add a little to the left. Also consider toning down the orange thing in the background at the chest level. overall very neat image.

nice detail, thanaboom! there seems to be a green color cast in the feathers. may have been from adjusting the WB? i always enjoy seeing the nice reflections in the eye. most of the time it's you!!! i like the tight crop here. works well for me!!

Excellent and engaging head position and great detail for such a dark subject. Agree with toning down the orange area...or quick masking over it. The top border of the head seems somewhat soft - not sure if this is from depth of field or post-processing. Nice image!

Great exposure - nice details in the blacks, Good HA and nice eye contact.
Tight crop works for me - might just clone out the bright spots in the BG.
    Keep em coming :)

    Hi Thanaboon,
I like the capture...the exposure is solid, I too see a color cast...an easy fix...looking forward to your next one...

Hi Thanaboon Strong image Great detail, exposure and sharpness Might crop slightly different with more room up front

I like the tech settings very much and might even increase the aperture for dof if the bg does not come into play !! Excellent !!!

Hmm, before I read the comments, I saw absolutly nothing wrong. This is still a great image, but now I see the orange thing and the green cast. No problem with the crop. The pose and the sharpness alone make this a great image. The tech stuff seems like and easy fix if you choose.

Nice, I like the different colors in the feathers that you don't really see when they are just hanging around. It kinda does look like a satellite, funny. Great job:)

    Thank you all the comments.
Didn't really notice the orange spot before and had a feeling that something wrong with the feathers color but didn't know what it is. Thank you!
