    I like the curious look, BG and setting. Could you have moved a bit to your right so that the piece of grass in the foreground would not have blocked parts of the feet? The image is quite large, please post images that are not longer than 800 pixels vertically. Keep them coming!

    Nice pose the soft highlight very much adds to the mood. Very good detail and HA. Might consider little crop off the top

    Very nice capture if a little dark. Negative space is more behind the bird, as opposed to the desired in front of the subject. TFS :)

    Oh I like the unconventional subject placement here, works well for me as the grass blades at left balance everything out nicely IMO! I agree with Axel re: the feet. For me I find the neck is twisted just a little too much and for this reason I would have preferred the HA to be a few degrees more towards us. I would also clone out the small dark spec on the chest as my eye wanders to it more than it should. Very nice image with great ambient light...

    This composition creates a nice tension for me. I like the way it works with the exception that there is more room at the top than I think needs to be there. Nice image.
