    Default Yellowstone Coyote

I made my first tip to Yellowstone last September. I can't wait to go back! This Coyote was unconcerned about us taking his picture. Nikon D200 18-200VR 1/500s @ f8

The little 18-200VR is a great lens, it hardly came off my camera while I was there.

Very nice as presented, but a lower angel, if at all possible, would have given you a more intimate feeling.

Agree with Fabs on the lower angle. I like the alertness of the animal - well captured.

Agreed, this was shot from the car as I wasn't sure how aggressive Coyote's can be ;-)

Only time a coyote could be aggessive is one that is being fed, might nip your hand. I sure wouldn't worry about it in Yellowstone. Go for the lower angle if possible, it would make all the difference in your BG. Exposure was handled well. If the head was a bit to the left it would have been on the upper right PP which would have strengthened the compostion.
