The white-fronted whistling duck is a medium-sized duck found throughout East Africa, and Amboseli NP in Kenya is a great place to see and photograph them. Its overall dark colour and white face distinguish it from all other ducks.

Thank you for taking the time out to look, and for your comments/ critiques.
Nice family photo you got here, and all the HAs are acceptable too! I wish the back duck at left wasn't as merged with the front one. I would also reduce the contrast as it seems much as is. As for the eyes: If you look closely you will find that they have a faint reflection on their upper parts...it would do the image a great service if you were to selectively lighten those to put a bit more life in them. Did you take some with deeper DOF to get the furthest bird in focus too?
Although the BG and ground are on the busy side, the composition of the birds here makes the image.
They all have the same HA that creates very nice feel. Agree with Daniel about merges and
brightening the eyes. Also I wish for bit more space on top.
I like it very much.
These guys are exactly the same as we have here in SA. We call them Whitefaced Ducks. Great family momement gathered together, and the give great flying images too.
