    I wanted to capture the blank stare into the distance.
    This male lion was just sitting in the shade staring into the future.
    I hope you approve of the comp. All comments are welcome.

    Like this Dave. The light is lovely with the rim light caressing the head nicely and showing enough detail in the vegetation to add interest. Details are very good and I like the way the ear is pegged back listening to something behind him. Re the space, this suits my view of the world a treat and enhances the sense of vast wilderness and what prospects are on offer in the future. Very nice.

    Impressive profile and out of the box composition. I like your idea and how you carried it out. Rim light really makes this one shine.
