Took this at our family cottage on Lake Huron last week. Probably needed a rock or something in the FG, but I liked the reflection of the light on the wave at the front.

Hi Jackie - very meditative, well worth a place on a wall so the viewers can sit back and reflect on the scene, can you tell I like this image (smile), very Lake Huron, and just the right amount of blur - it softens but doesn't distract. All very nice.

Nice horizon placement, just enough sky but lake is the main subject. Shutter speed is perfect, water is not too soft, not too hard. The waves produce a nice pattern of leading lines that draw viewer into the scene, well done. Not sure about the bottom crop. On one hand it helps FG on the other it pulls my eye some. Let's see what others say, either way this is great work - congrats.

I like this as presented...it has a peaceful feel to it...I like the wave motion, and the color rendition is just right...good show...:cool:
Thanks for the comments everyone. My Dad had the foresight many years ago to buy this place, and this is the view from our cottage. I spent many summers as a child here.
