    Image created in a a place called Barotha, 40Km from the famous Keolodeo Bird Sanctuary in India. Had to stalk this kingfisher and this was the closest I could get with my Canon 1DIII and a 500mm lens on a tripod almost down to water level.
    f 9.0 1/1000s at ISO 400.

    I really like the job on exposure and the pose is ok. I personally find the perch busy, but hey, sometimes you take what you can get!

    What a handsome bird. I'd clone out the single stick pointing straight up just to the right of the bird (as viewed).
