    Default New SanDisk CF cards

If you are about to buy CF cards hold on to your money, SanDisk is updating their extreme series with new cards that are rated 60MB/sec (this replaces extreme IV) it is called plain extreme, I was able to squeeze 2 more NEF files with D700 at 8fps and 3 more CR2 files with 50D at 6fps compared to extreme IV (UDMA).

    New Sandisk extreme CF card.

I was told 16 and 32 GB versions of the same card will ship next month but they will be very expensive.

Sounds good except for the price! I will probably "just" get the Extreme IV.

The best option right now is the 16GB extreme (not pro) card for ~$170.

I'm sticking to my $200 limit when it comes to memory cards. ;)
