    Vida:
    Tremendous colors here. Powerful impact.

    Sharp, well exposed, fine detail.

Glad I am bigger than he is!

    Thanks for sharing.

Vida, Very nice sharpness and the details really stand out. Colors are very vivid and the BG colors are complimentary.

Great close up, Vida! Love all the details and sharpness. Nice bright, complementary colors; I might just tone down the red-orange on the snout a little. Well done!

And red it is...Very nice "in the face" pose, great details and colors! I like it very much.

Beautifully done, Vida! Lots of color and clarity here. Since you evened out the BG some you might also consider evening out the green on both sides (the left has more red) to really separate the wings from the BG even more. Still, it's gorgeous as is...tons of impact!

I really like the centered presentation. It emphasizes the face so well. The detail, especially the little lenses in the eyes is super. You also have wonderful saturation. Looks like me on Sundays - needs a shave!!!

WooHoo! This is definitely red. I first noticed, well the red, but then, the texture in the eyes, and then the little hairs. Well done! After reading Jules' suggestion and looking at the image again, I agree.

Super Head-on shot, love the details. Was this handheld?

Wonderful Vida! Great detail and just the right amount of DOF. Colorcombination of the dragonfly and BG make this shot.

Thank you for the great feedback Anita, Connie and Jerry. Always appreciated.:) Anita, I would love to even out the green some more as Julie suggested but the extra red on the left is actually part of the dragonfly's wing and I can't remove a part of my subject. I don't know why the wings appear so lopsided.:) Connie, this was handheld. Almost all my shots are handheld as most insects are too skittish to allow for time to set up a tripod.
