Look sharp and clean. Like the wing position. As for the HA, that's HAP's problem :D:D

Good wings and tail spread, sharp and very well expose too. I don't mind about the HA that much because there are droplets drip from the beak which goes very well with the head down angle.

Nice and sharp, I like the head angle it goes with your title. I also like the way the bird is angled, with the wings spread out. Great job:)

    Hi Chris,
I like the capture...a few things to think about...the head angle does not bother me because the subject is concentrated, and starting his dive for food; however, I would open up the area around the eye just a tad more, and add more canvas to the bottom...looking forward to your next one...

Killer image, I agree with Gus. I would crop some off the top and add to the bottom.

Techs are solid, is this Eval or Spot pattern.

Superb. This is the perfect example of an image where the HA 'rule' doesn't apply or need apply. The HA here in fact pulls everything together to the bird.
There is a drop of water, center right, just up from the bottom; and one on the bird's head. I'd remove them, but it is a matter of choice.
Nothing to do but print it, and enter every contest you can find, especially those with large cash prices (smile).
    Cheers
    Gail

Hi Chris - love the pose - exposure looks good and is as sharp as a tack, Agree with some more canvas at the bottom - if you had it with just a tad of water, it would complete the story - IMHO.
    Good show!!!

Fine looking image and like it as presented Particularly like the pose and placement in frame Ideally you would want the bird square to you but I would sure take this image !!! Big Congrats !!!

    Hi Folks,

Thanks for your comments, Jeff, it was Eval. Will add canvas to bottom as suggested, thanks again for your time.

    Regards

    Chris B.
