    This is the largest of the Tern species here at the wetlands not an easy species to shoot because access to them on land is not possible and they fly quite high overhead.
    But on occasion you will get one flying a little lower.:)

    James:

    Nice light, exposure, angle in frame, sharpness. Your long effective focal length helped reduce the sense of too steep of a shooting angle.

    Nice one James, I agree with you..they're hard to catch at BC, I like this one for the details, the eye and the catch light.

    Sharp with a good EXP of this winter plumage adult. My only wish would be for a better far wing position.
