Default Australian White Ibis Carrying nesting material

Went to Dubbo NSW last week and visited the Dubbo Zoo. They had a pnd there where these guys were nesting. Took some shots of them flying in & out of the nesting ground

Well you certainly got this out in the open. Good back stroke on the wing (although I do miss seeing the other wing). The dangling feet and nest material are bonus. From the embedded exif it looks like the +1.67 EC was a bit much as evidenced by some of the blown whites. I also wish you had a bit more room in front for the ibis to land into. I don't mind the grasses in LRC too much, but I could do without the two bare straws on either side of the feet.

I like the angle, nesting material and eye contact. You could try to tone down the highlights and give it more room bottom and right. I wish we could see a bit more of the far wing.

Captured a nice moment. The biggest distraction for me is the blown whites in parts of the wings. Maybe re-processing you could find detail there.

Really interesting to see this ibis, as it is different from ours here in Florida. I like that you captured its nesting behavior, and it is sharp. I do agree with comments above and this photo begs to have more room on the right.
