    Default Whimbrel II

This is my second post of this Whimbrel. He was pretty cooperative but took off when my wife approached. I like the look back but am not sure if it is enough for approval by the HAPD (Head Angle Police Department).;) Hope you like it, All C/C appreciated.

Very nice Brian, HA and eye contact are good, wish bird was parallel to sensor. It could benefit from a bit more sharpening. TFS

    Brian:

I like the look back pose, and to me the HA looks good, as parallel to the film sensor with the look back pose is pretty darn good. It appears sharp enough on my monitor.

Good exposure, good to have room for the virtual feet.

    Cheers

Brian, I like the pose, and well done with the DOF. I would remove the second catchlight, and I feel this needs a very slight CCW rotation. ( Im basing that on his left leg tilting slightly.) Im glad you are enjoying the 50D, Ive had endless fun with mine.

Nice find, good light and eye contact. Another vote for more sharpening.
