    Well, I had to try out the new DAP too! Did a pass of realism, then saved as a PS layered file, masked and brushed back some detail in the head. Tweaked that bit, then took the composite and ran a pass of Topaz Detail, then finally ran the result through Topaz Simplify. A few other things that I forgot... ;)

    Good combination of filters and techniques, Kerry. I like the composition and bold colors. There's just enough detail in the bird while keeping a great impressionistic look.

    Kerry, I agree w/ Cindy's comments-this has a very impressionist look. I like the amount of detail you left in the bird-it matches the style nicely. Well done.

    Hi Kerry, Nice abstract effect with filters with a good comp.Colors are vibrant and create interest.

    Beautiful composition, Kerry. Love the details on the bird and the colors. Excellent use of the DAP and layers.
