The elk are starting to do their thing. This has been the largest bull I've seen. He has a huge spread. I wish I had more room around the virtual legs but had to deal with an ugly sign and revegetation area, so cut it where I did on the bottom.
This is a loverly image of a stunning animal. Love the grasses and the flowers on our right. And the soft light. You did well with the framing. I am not a big fan of the frame.

One further thought about the virtual legs: framing a bit lower and then eliminating the sign would have been an option as the grass along the bottom of the frame is pertty much out-of-focus.

I really like how the soft light really brings out the detail in the elk. Like the color of the surrounding grasses as well. May have to head up tomorrow!
