It has been wonderful to see all the African images that have been posted lately and it motivated me to go back and look at some that I took several years ago.

    Nikon D1X
    Nikon 600 mm F4
    Aperture priority
    !/1600, F11
    ISO 400

This was before I started photographing mainly in manual mode.

    All comments are appreciated. Thanks.

Love the pose and the alert look. This back-up laptop seems to be having trouble holding calibrations; does this look much too yellow to anyone?

Great pose. It does look a bit on the yellowish-green side but not unnaturally so. Has an early morning light look to my eye. For my tastes, I think it could use a touch more sharpening on the hyena.

Super alert pose and look Judy. Does look yellow though. Thanks for sharing though and I'm sure viewing it has brought back good memories too.

Really like the warm light and the grasses surrounding the subject. Nice image.

I think Art is correct, this could be a touch yellow but I dont think it is far off. (looking at the green grass and the animal?)
I like the pose and comp but you have lost a bit of detail on the animals body and face, did you run a NR? (I would think not at f11)
PS were was this image captured?
