In this one, I tried several different DAP styles. I really liked the colors in the grass on the Monet blend and I liked everything but the dull orangy color of the grass with the Benson. So, I blended the Monet grass with the Benson.

The colors seem a bit too much to me. I think it needs to be blended back with the original to tone it down.

I just downloaded the upgrade, so hopefully I will have some time this weekend to play with it. Fun stuff.

Very nice job, Patti. I like the lines of the composition with the converging fence posts framing the house. I think the colors are wonderful, both the blues of the sky and the green grass. I see two lines in the upper left that I might blend in more.

Patti, I really love the composition!! The fence framing the farmhouse is very nice and the angle you chose to shoot it on creates alot of interest. I think the colors look great. I love it -well done!!

Thanks so much for the positive comments Cindy and Denise - especially about composition. I really struggle with composition and I was wondering if this one was okay. I thought after looking at it that I should have gotten a bit higher to get the fence post away from the house a bit more.

Cindy, I never even noticed the white streaks. I'll get them out of there. Thanks for catching that!

Hi Patti, Agree with the previous posts.I feel the comp is good and the fencepost is fine since it's not merging with the house.Might take out the small white area and rock post behind the house.Appealing image!

Thanks much Dave. I agree about the buildings behind the house. They really should go.

Here's an attempt to correct some of the details...

Patti, very nice in every aspect. It's a really nice job of blending DAP artists.:)

Super composition, Patti... Love the angle of the image. Great colors and treatment with DAP.
