I have tried a crop suggested by Arthur Morris. Eventhough it is not that much different from the previous post I must say that the composition improved. Thanks for the advice!!!:)
Canon EOS 400D
EF 400mm f/5.6L USM
1/100, f/5.6, ISO 400, tripod
Levels, noisereduction, shadow/highlight, crop, smartsharpen.
Better, and still lovely, but I would have given those coverts just a bit more room. If you want to try that, you can re-post it below.

I have tried to crop the image again with some more room in the bottom - as suggested by Arthur. I can't crop it any wider than this - perhaps it's too wide now?
Better, but I would crop just a fraction more off the bottom. Do you see the single white feather below the coverts? It has a black tip on it. You need to crop it just to get rid of the black tip (which is a minor distraction). Once you learn how, you could add a bit to the left side.
