It's hard to compete with Vida's fine Jumping Spider image, but I thought I would share this one, taken today. 40D, Canon 180mm macro + 25mm ext., 1/160, f/16, ISO 400, macro twin flash set at 1/64 power, hand held, manual focus at 1:1 magnification. I removed some flash-generated spectral highlights and cleaned up some imperfections in the leaf. Comments are welcome.

Very nice, Steve. Great details and eye contact on the spider, and the leaf makes a nice, simple BG. Well done!

The surrounding leaf really makes this one for me, pefect focus on the spider and rI eally like how you composed this.
