Are we going to see the 1D-Mk4 by end of September???
Saw this on a few sites now already...

It will be interesting to see what the announcement is about. Hard to believe that a company as diverse as Canon will see the 1DMK4 as "one of its largest and most important launches in the company’s history". The next 1 series may be that important to us photographers, but Canon makes a lot of products for a lot of industries.
This rumor has been floating around since mid-June, and I doubt it's a new camera.... more than likely it's a new printer or copier or something. I doubt that Canon's Swedish office would be given a release of the magnitude of a 1D IV...
And to think that I have not been invited...

When I lived in NY I got invited to help clean-up the basement at Canon USA. :) :) :)
My biggest claim to fame was that I did a TV commercial for the EOS-1V. It aired worldwide.

I think it'll still sell at $4,000 like the 1D3 was sold for. They have too considering a lot of factors like say Nikon.
