Patti, I really love white Cosmos and the backlit petals are lovely! The treatment you applied is very nice and so is the composition. I wish that more of the beautiful blue BG was in the LRC. Very nicely done! And it's nice to have you back!!

Hi Pattii, I like your use of color and filters. Simple and effective. Agree with Denise regarding the LRC...

Thanks for the comments Denise and Dave. I thought I knew all the acronyms, but what is LRC?

I also think it would have been better to leave more of the blue in the background. I probably should try to blend this back with the original. I'll give it a shot.

    Thanks again,
    Patti

Ah! Thanks Dave. That does make sense. It would be a lot more balanced if the blue extended more into the LRC. I should have figured that out. I'm sure I've seen it before.

nice Patti to see you going OOTB with this.
Your experimentation is a great means to an end for working with DAP.

And for my taste too.....a bit more blue, maybe even a bit brighter.

You must have blended the 2 styles outside of DAP.......you can also
restart DAP, after selecting another style ans overpaint by unchecking
    "clear canvas" before restarting

Dave, Thanks for your comments. I have tried to redo it and add more blue, but I just haven't come up with anything I feel is better. The blue I'm adding is just from the original and it doesn't look very good compared to the textured look of the DAP blue if that makes any sense. I need to get a lot better at this post processing.

I've also experimented with what you mention on unchecking "clear canvas" and allowing DAP to blend more than one style. Sometimes I like what it does, but usually I prefer to blend myself because I have more control of which parts of the two styles get blended. I have had so much fun with DAP!

Patti, It's such a small area -if you are not apposed to cloning, that may be an option.

Patti, a really nice job but I'd like to see the LRC blue also. The bg and cosmos are beautifully painted.:)
