I have just arrived back from Xaro Lodge in the Okavango Delta, where I spent a memorable few days with 10 fellow photographers. We baited a few fish eagles with small bream and they were particularly co-operative:)

Hey Chris, this is pretty darn cool! I can sense the power of its swooping flight pose, and I love what looks like the wind catching into some of its feathers. The only thing I would change is to eliminate the small BG streak in front of the bill.

Super stuff (as usual) Chris. Got quite a "smooth" finish to it - part of your processing or just the way it came out ?

Good clean very well exposed image Chris. Wish I had the time to do a Delta trip again this year, I trust you had a great time and got a lot of carmine and skimmer shots as well.

Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions! Vic at ISO 450 the D3 is virtually noiseless, but I did run my usual selective slight blur on the background.
