    Default Kildeer pair

    This pair was not at all shy and it is the 1st time I'd witnessed Kildeers mating. Taken at San Elijo Lagoon, Cardiff, Ca. There was lots of flight opportunities on this morning of the smaller shore birds and I wanted to keep the shutter speed up. Comments and critiques are most helpful. Thank you.

    Interesting behaviour and nice sharpness. BG works well but is showing a bit of noise, possibly exacerbated by sharpening for web presentation - if so masking the sharpening from the BG may be an option.

    Great capture! I like the low angle and clean bg. It does appear a bit oversharpened on my screen.

    Great natural moment here, nice species and head angles. Light was a bit harsh but usable :)
    A lower angle might have been even better.
